Raretrade provides website design and development services specialising in WhatsApp-first lead generation websites for tradespeople and small businesses. Our services include:

Basic search engine optimisation (SEO)
Ongoing website hosting and maintenance

3. Quotes and pricing

All quotes provided are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated. Prices on our website are subject to change. The final price will be confirmed in writing before any work commences.

Our standard packages include setup fees and monthly fees as displayed on our pricing page. Additional work outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately.

4. Payment terms

Setup fees: Due before work commences or upon project kickoff
Monthly fees: Due on the same date each month, payable in advance
Payment methods: Bank transfer (preferred), or card payment via invoice

If payment is not received within 14 days of the due date, we reserve the right to suspend your website until payment is made.

5. Project delivery

We aim to deliver websites within the timeframes specified in our packages:

Starter: Within 48 hours of receiving all required content
Pro: Within 3-5 working days
Dominate: Within 5-7 working days

These timelines depend on receiving all necessary content, images, and feedback from you promptly. Delays in providing materials may extend the delivery time.

6. Client responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information about your business
Supply content, images, and logos in a timely manner
Respond to requests for feedback within a reasonable timeframe
Ensure any content you provide doesn't infringe third-party rights
Keep your contact details up to date

7. Intellectual property

Your content: You retain ownership of all content you provide (text, images, logos). You grant us a licence to use this content to deliver our services.

Our work: Upon full payment, you own the website content we create for you. We retain the right to use anonymised screenshots of your website in our portfolio unless you object in writing.

Third-party assets: Some websites may include stock images, fonts, or other assets licensed from third parties. These remain subject to their original licences.

8. Hosting and maintenance

Monthly fees include:

Website hosting
SSL certificate (HTTPS)
Regular security updates
Basic technical support
Minor content updates (subject to fair use)

We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to hosting providers or technical infrastructure to improve service quality.

9. Support and changes

Basic support is included with all packages. This covers:

Technical issues with your website
Minor text and image updates
Questions about using your site

Significant changes, new features, or redesigns will be quoted as additional work.

10. Cancellation

By you: You may cancel your monthly service with 30 days' notice. No refunds are given for unused portions of the current month. Setup fees are non-refundable once work has commenced.

By us: We may terminate services with 30 days' notice, or immediately if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use your website for illegal purposes. In case of termination by us (except for breach), we'll provide a pro-rata refund of any prepaid fees.

11. Website transfer

If you cancel, you may request a copy of your website files. We'll provide these within 14 days of your final payment. We are not responsible for migrating or supporting your website once transferred.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages
Our total liability is limited to the fees you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
We are not responsible for loss of business, revenue, or profits
We are not liable for issues caused by third-party services (hosting, WhatsApp, Google, etc.)

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising from:

Content you provide that infringes third-party rights
Your breach of these Terms
Your use of your website for illegal purposes

14. Third-party services

Our websites integrate with third-party services including:

WhatsApp/Meta
Google Analytics
Hosting providers

These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the operation of third-party services.

15. Use of this website

You may use raretrade.co.uk for lawful purposes only. You must not:

Use the site in any way that breaches applicable laws
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
Transmit any malicious code or harmful data
Copy or scrape content without permission

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For active clients, we'll provide 30 days' notice of significant changes. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
